schedule assessment New Dealers

The many advances in technology specifically software’s, have made business processes more efficient. As a  dealer you must train yourself and be ahead of the game. Today all dealers can process titles electronically without having to wait for a paper title. Although many old dealers are reluctant to use this process for fear of not having a hard copy of a certificate, it is actually really nice and safe. In many ways, having an e-title is less risky. E-titles are easier to safeguard against theft.
There is no worrying about losing a title either, as all information is stored online.

E-titles offer the same proof of ownership of a motor vehicle, mobile home, or vessel as paper titles. They are reassigned and applied for just as a paper title. Dealers can conduct a motor vehicle check to verify an e-title and can complete a Form HSMV82994: http://www.flhsmv.gov/dmv/forms/BTR/82994.pdf to transfer ownership before making a vehicle available for sale. Liens can be recorded against them as well. Customers can also request to have a paper title mailed to them. The title will be mailed to the address listed on the certificate. Paper titles can also be retrieved immediately at the Tax Collector’s office for a fee of $10.
